Scope of processing personal data

The protection of personal data is very important to König Komfort- und Rennsitze GmbH. König Komfort- und Rennsitze GmbH is subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). In principle, the use of the König Komfort- und Rennsitze GmbH website is possible without disclosing personal data (temporary exception: IP address). When using the contact form and when contacting König Komfort- und Rennsitze GmbH by phone, personal data will be processed. There is no automated decision-making (so-called profiling).

Personal data is information that relates to an identified or identifiable person. This includes information that enables conclusions to be drawn about your identity. Further definitions of the terms used (e.g. “processing”) can be found in Art. 4 GDPR.

Use of the website

Every time a user accesses the Internet offer of König Komfort- und Rennsitze GmbH and every time a file is called up, data about this process must be temporarily processed in a log file. Your IP address is neither recorded nor stored in the access log of the web server on our hosting platform.

When calling up individual pages, so-called temporary cookies are used to facilitate navigation. These session cookies do not contain any personal data and expire at the end of the session. Techniques, such as Java applets or Active-X controls, which make it possible to trace the access behaviour of the users, are not used.

For the operation of our web server we use Media Cluster GmbH, Eglosheimer Str. 41 in 71636 Ludwigsburg.

 

Contact by e-mail/contact form

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

When using the contact form and when contacting us via e-mail, we process the following personal data:

  • Name
  • E-Mail-address
  • Message
  • Date and time of your request

We use this personal data to answer your request. This applies both to contacting us via the contact form on our website and to contacting us via e-mail. The processing of your personal data is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in answering your request.

We store your personal data at the longest until the processing purposes mentioned have been achieved. In the event that you contact us, this means, irrespective of the way in which this is done, after your enquiry has been answered, for the time necessary to evaluate your enquiry and, if necessary, to optimise our business.

If personal health data or confidential information is transmitted via our website, please check in advance whether this cannot be done in any other way, e.g. by letter or fax.

 

Contact by telephone/fax

You can reach us at the telephone and fax numbers given. In this case the following data categories will be stored:

a) Telephone call: name, number (caller, called party), time
b) Fax: sender, name, device number, time of transmission, content information

In the case of telephone calls, they are usually stored by means of a telephone note, in the case of faxes by the printout being kept.

The processing of your data is based on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit.a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to further processing at any time with future effect. If retention periods prevent the deletion, the data will be restricted in processing. For more information, see the section entitled “Rights of data subjects”.

 

Google Maps

We use the Google Maps service on our website to be able to show you an interactive map (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit.f GDPR). Our legitimate interest is to inform you where you can find us when you want to visit us. When you visit the page on our website in which Google Maps is integrated, we transmit your IP address to Google in a shortened form.

 

Google Fonts

We use Google Fonts on our website. These are fonts that can be displayed by your browser even if these special fonts are not available on your system. This processing is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in standardizing the presentation of our website on all types of devices and browsers.

 

Rights of data subjects

As far as we process your personal data, you have the following data protection rights:

  • the right to receive information about the processing of your personal data at any time (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • the right to correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • the right to have data deleted or restricted in processing in accordance with legal requirements (e.g. if you revoke your consent or unlawful processing) (Art. 17, 18 GDPR),
  • the right to withdraw your consent at any time with future effect for data processing based on consent (Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR),
  • the right to data portability (you can have an overview of your data made available in an electronic format) (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • the right to object to data processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • the right to contact the data protection officer of König Komfort- und Rennsitze GmbH and to raise your concern (Art. 38 Para. 4 GDPR) and
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
